Ixtapa is often
referred to as the 'Sister Destination' to the beautiful Zihuatanejo. You'll find it in Guerrero, which is a state

town Mexico charm. The local people are
very friendly and the destination is beautiful and safe for tourists.
Around 144
miles north of Acapulco, Zihuatanejo was once a sleepy little fishing village,
residents were sparse and the little town was virtually unknown, but as the
1970's got into full swing, it slowly became recognized as the most desired
destination of choice when it comes to perfect getaways, and the location soon
became a hit among the worlds most beautiful people!
